Bay Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities of the Sales Area Manager include but are not limited to:

· Conduct "business to business" sales calls on manufacturing and food processing facilities throughout the region for parts, service, and service agreements.

· Manage all aspects of the Sales process including selling preventative maintenance contracts with new equipment, as well as new customer acquisition, and customer retention.

· Prepares and sends product specifications and quotation packages to customers.

· Makes follow-up calls and responds to customer inquiries.

· Maintains contact with customers before, during and after each sale to ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customer needs.

· Travels daily within assigned territory to customer locations when necessary.

Qualifications of the Sales Area Manager include but are not limited to:

  • 3+ years of experience with air compressor service or industrial sales (examples: automotive, heavy equipment, rental yard, industrial supplies, etc) preferred.
  • Strong inter-personal (people) skills with good aptitude to understand technical processes and mechanical systems.
  • Work ethic – do whatever it takes to delight the customer.
  • Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
  • Must have current driver’s license and acceptance driving record according to company guidelines

Additional Information:

Working Conditions: Visit customer facilities

Shift Time/Overtime: 7:00am-4:00pm

Travel: Driving to customer sites

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
